Introduction:

The diameter of the coupling wire is specified as 0.5mm, and the allowable deviation is -0.015mm. The nominal chemical composition of the positive electrode (RP) is a platinum-rhodium alloy, which contains 13% rhodium, 87% platinum, and the negative electrode (RN) is pure platinum.

The use environment of R-type thermocouple:

Thermoelectric potential stability and good oxidation resistance at high temperatures, suitable for oxidizing and inert atmospheres. The overall performance of the R-type thermocouple is equivalent to that of the S-type thermocouple.

Advantages of R-type thermocouple:

1: R-type thermocouple has high accuracy in the thermocouple series,

2: R-type thermocouple has good stability in the thermocouple series,

3: The measuring temperature range is large

4: Long service life

Disadvantages of R-type thermocouple

1: The thermoelectric potential rate is small

2: Low sensitivity,

3: The higher the temperature, the lower the mechanical strength.

4: Environmental pollution is very large, pay attention to environmental protection.

5: Precious metal materials are expensive, so the one-time investment is relatively large.

Measuring temperature range of R-type thermocouple

1: The long-term maximum use temperature is 1300℃

2: The short-term maximum use temperature is 1600℃
